CCLS

CCLS is a biological treatment carried and sold by Coppola Services for use with septic systems. CCLS is safe for household plumbing, and much safer to handle than chemical treatments. CCLS is primarily a maintenance product, effective in slowly digesting solid material and opening slow drains. CCLS requires regular repeated usage in order for it to be effective.

When used in septic tanks, CCLS breaks down the solid material found in household waste causing it to settle on the bottom of the tank. By doing this, the layer of water between the scum layer (on the top) and the sludge layer (on the bottom) is kept clean to flow into the drainage field. As the CCLS flows into the drainage field, it digests any residual material that could slow the fields's absorption of water.

Even before it enters the septic tank, the enzymes in CCLS coat the matter on the walls of the pipe (grease, waste, soap) and eat away at it until the pipe is clear, leaving a protective coating of bacteria to deter future waste buildup.

Corrosive materials found in products like bleaches and disinfectants will kill the helpful microorganisms occurring naturally in household waste. Since many people use these products, it is important to use a product like CCLS to help replenish the bacteria killed.

In addition to being less expensive, CCLS is better than any advertised national brand.
