and uncovering the main lid(s) of the septic
tank or tanks and evaluating their condition.

Evaluating
the inlet and outlet baffle conditions.

Measuring
tank liquid level and approximate tank volume.

Locating
and probing the absorption area. Observing
absorption area condition and levels.

| 7.
|
Running
cold water from inside the house, not to exceed
the daily design volume.

Monitoring
tank liquid level and confirming wastewater
flow to the absorption area (during test).

| 9. |
Monitoring
levels in the absorption area (during test).
|
| 10. |
Identifying
any areas of sewage breakout, lush vegetation
and odors around absorption area.

| 11. |
Mapping
the location of system components identified
during the inspection.
|
| 12. |
Covering
and seeding exposed components of system.
|
| 13. |
Within
72 hours, issuing a final summary report to
the buyer, realtor and attorney (based on
the inspector’s field notes).
